Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bearish performance in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of transportation and banks sectors.
The general index declined 0.26% or 9.37 points to reach 3,659.63 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The transportation sector led losers after falling 0.94% as Aramex slid 1.7%. The banks sector also retreated 0.3% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) tumbled 0.5%.
The real estate sector levelled down 0.24% as Union Properties (UP) decreased 0.8%.
The market saw trading of 117.07 million shares through 1,219 transactions, with a turnover of AED 111.87 million.
