Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Tuesday amid the negative performance of Dubai Islamic Bank and Emaar Properties.
The general index declined 0.23% or 6.94 points to reach 3,077.5 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The banks sector fell 0.8% as Dubai Islamic Bank lost 1.64%.
The real estate sector decreased 0.1% after Emaar and Arabtec Holding retreated 0.85% and 3.77%, respectively.
On the flipside, the investment sector gained 0.23% due to an increase in DFM Company by 0.86%.
The telecom sector advanced 0.2% as du rose 0.2% to AED 5.01.
Turnover reached AED 71.8 million after 66 million shares were traded through 1,020 transactions.
