DFM deepens losses mid-session; 0.21% down

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) main index deepened its losses in Monday’s mid-trade after falling by 0.48% or 15.56 points to 3274 points, compared with 0.21% in early session

The investment sector was the biggest loser after moving 1.38% down, after Dubai Investment and Dubai Financial Market dropped 0.96% and 2.54%, respectively.

The real estate sector also plummeted by 0.76, as Arabtec and Emaar shares decreased 2.48% and 0.32% decrease, respectively.

Meanwhile, the banking sector’s losses reached 0.16%.

However, the telecom sector came in green with a rise of 1.2, after an AED 4.040 increase.

Trading volume reached 107.78 million shares by mid-session, with a value of AED 92.64 million generated from 1,780 trades.
