Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of five sectors led by investment and real estate.
The DFMGI fell 0.29% or 10.14 points to reach 3,464.59 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector retreated 0.85% as Dubai Investments slid 0.8%.
The transportation sector levelled down 0.44% due to a decline in Aramex by 0.8%.
The real estate sector sank 0.29% after Emaar Properties and Damac Properties retreated 1.23% and 0.36%, respectively.
The banks sector slid 0.14% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) tumbled 0.18%.
The market saw trading of 73.06 million shares through 1,026 transactions, with a turnover of AED 72.77 million.
