Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.82% or 39.45 points to close Tuesday's trading session at 2,124.63 points.
The market cap value dropped by AED 3.53 billion to AED 298.59 billion, compared to AED 302.12 billion during the previous session.
A total of 491.38 million shares were traded through 5,117 transactions at a total value of AED 365.86 million.
The real estate sector led the decliners with 3.50%, while the consumer staples segment came on top of the risers with 2.66%.
Deyaar Development topped 24 losing stocks with 4.15%, while DXB Entertainments headed five losing stocks with 2.85%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 117.28 million shares, while Emaar Properties, down 4.07%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 81.85 million.
