Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 67.39 points or 3.78% to close at 1,714.43 points by the end of Monday's trading session, maintaining its downward performance.
A total of 176.65 million shares were traded through 3,083 transactions at a total value of AED 217.43 million.
The market cap value retreated by around AED 6.81 billion to AED 261.26 billion from AED 268.07 billion during the previous session.
The investment and financial services sector topped the decliners with 4.76%.
Moreover, Air Arabia topped 25 losing stocks with 5%, while Al Madina for Finance and Investment led four rising stocks with 4.68%.
Union Properties was the most active stock with 37.27 million shares, while Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) posted the highest turnover of AED 104.76 million.
Dubai Investments headed the declining blue chips with 5%, followed by Emirates NBD with 4.95%.
