Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bearish performance in Wednesday’s early trades after most sectors declined.
The DFMGI lost 1.4% or 46.8 points to 3,277.2 points by 11:00am UAE time.
The investment sector fell 1.9% as Shuaa Capital and DFM Company decreased 4.8% and 2.3%, respectively.
The real estate sector retreated 1.7%, stifled by Union Properties, Arabtec Holding and Emaar Properties which moved down 2.8%, 2.7 and 2.4% in a row.
The banks sector decreased 1.3% as Commercial Bank of Dubai (CDB) and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled down 3.7% and 1.6%, respectively.
The market saw trading of 189.2 million shares through 2,783 transactions, with a turnover of AED 209.18 million.
