Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Thursday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of telecom and real estate stocks.
The DFMGI fell 0.16% or 5.3 points to reach 3,286.21 points by 10:00am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 6.2 million shares through 72 transactions, with a turnover of AED 9 million.
The services sector led losers after falling 0.79%, weighed down by Tabreed which declined 2.24%.
The telecom sector decreased 0.66% as du slid 0.66%. The real estate sector also retreated 0.23% after Emaar Malls Group went down 1.54%.
On the flipside, the banks sector rose 0.34% after Mashreq Bank went up 9.4%.
