Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) decreased by 1.38% or 26.68 points to close Thursday's trading session at 1,894.47 points, unlike its upward performance on Wednesday, 13 May.
The market cap value reached AED 278.91 billion, down by AED 2.78 billion from AED 281.69 billion during the previous session.
Around 112.76 million shares were traded through 3,142 transactions valued at AED 151.58 million.
The services sectors topped the decliners with 2.10%.
Al Salam Bank - Sudan led 24 losing stocks with 4.40%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) headed four rising stocks with 5.12%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 31.53 million shares, while Emirates NBD, down 3.41%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 47.13 million.
