Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, in line with the fall of three sectors led by transportation and banks.
The general index declined 0.16% or 5.77 points to reach 3,495.41 points by 10:35am UAE time.
The transportation sector levelled down 1.8% as Air Arabia retreated 4.2%.
The banks sector sank 0.29% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) sank 0.36%. The real estate sector went down 0.07% due to a decrease in Emaar Properties by 0.28%.
The market saw trading of 86.76 million shares through 1,219 transactions, with a turnover of AED 148.29 million.
