Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has marginally increased by 0.01% or 0.36 points to close Wednesday's trading session at 2,124.99 points, reversing its negative performance on Tuesday, 9 June.
The market cap value decreased by AED 710 million to AED 297.88 billion, compared to AED 298.59 billion during the previous session.
A total of 509.61 million shares were traded through 4,802 transactions at a total value of AED 292.15 million.
The consumer staples sector led the risers with 5.82%, while the banks segment came on top of the decliners with 1.82%.
Al Salam Group Holding topped 21 rising stocks with 10.37%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) led eight losing stocks with 4.63%.
DXB Entertainments, up 6.25%, posted the highest trading volume of 164.03 million shares, while Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 56.96 million.
