Dubai – Mubasher: The real estate and bank blue-chip stocks pushed up the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Sunday, the last trading session of June.
The DFM’s general index closed today’s session up 1.24% to 2,658.63 points, gaining 32.57 points.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 138.136 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 109.734 million.
The banks sector rose 1.88% as the heavyweight Emirates NBD jumped by 4.13%, and the real estate sector went up 0.75% as Emaar Properties added 1.13%.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector was the sole decliner with 0.85%.
