DFM ends Monday in green

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has closed Monday’s trading session on a positive note after some of the blue-chip stocks saw a number of selective buying transactions.

The DFM’s general index added 18.82 points, or 0.67%, to 2,835.27 points.

Trading volume amounted to 137.381 million shares that were exchanged at a turnover of AED 201.531 million through 2,040 transactions.

Market capitalisation gained AED 1.2 billion and closed the session at AED 370.012 billion.

The services sector increased by 3.14%, followed by the investment and financial services sector that went up 2$.

Meanwhile, the consumer staples rose by 1.19%, the real estate sector added 0.94%, and the banks sector leveled up 0.60%.

Amanat was the most active stock by volume after 39.796 million shares were traded, while Emirates NBD was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 59.230 million.

Arabtec’s stock jumped by 3.70%, Damac went up by 1.10%, and Emaar Properties rose by 1.05%.
