DFM ends Monday’s session lower

Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market levelled down by 0.35% or 9.45 points at the end of Monday’s trading session, closing at the level of 2,684.44 points and registering a decline for the second session in a row.

The bourse saw liquidity of AED 177.87 million after 138.75 million shares were traded through 3,155 transactions.

The market cap value plunged by AED 550 million to stand at AED 365.41 billion when compared to AED 365.96 billion in the previous session.

The services segment was the top faller by 1.39%, whereas the banks segment was the only riser by 0.74%.

Dar Al Takaful led the decliners with 6.90%, while International Financial Advisors (IFA) was the top gainer with 10%.

Emaar Properties logged the highest turnover of AED 46.80 million, the stock was down 1.46%, whereas Arabtec Holding led the trading activity with 17.31 million shares, the stock went down 6.29%.
