Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Sunday’s trading session with negative performance.
The DFM’s general index inched down 0.21%, or 5.75 points, ending the first session of this week at 2,752.76 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 129.59 million after 147.45 million shares exchanged hands through 2,243 transactions.
By the end of the session, the bourse’s market capitalisation fell by AED 1.15 billion, recording AED 360.6 billion.
The real estate sector topped the decliners and fell 0.81% as Emaar and Emaar Development plunged 0.63% and 2.15%, respectively.
Similarly, the investment sector went down 1.94%, pressured by Dubai Investments’ 2.14% drop.
