Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Sunday’s trading session slightly down amid quick profit-taking transactions.
The DFM’s general index inched down 0.26 points, or 0.01%, to 2,758.34 points.
Trading volume amounted to 158.019 million shares that were exchanged through 1,737 transactions at a turnover of AED 110.375 million.
Market capitalisation lost AED 354 million and closed the session at AED 361.340 billion.
The services, the banks, and the real estate sectors slipped 1.48%, 0.40%, and 0.76%, respectively.
Similarly, the investment and financial services and the consumer staples sectors shed 0.61% and 0.39% each.
Aan Digital Services was the most active stock by volume with a trading volume of 51.104 million shares, while Emaar Properties, up 1.01% to AWD 5, was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 24.282 million.
Emirates NBD tumbled 0.87% to AED 11.45, while Damac Properties and Arabtec levelled up by 0.84% to AED 0.96 and 0.62% to 1.62, respectively.
