Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Sunday’s trading session in with negative performance, dragged by profit-taking.
The general index went down 0.42%, or 11.70 points, ending the session at 2,775.74 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 119.17 million after 82.16 million shares exchanged hands through 1,566 transactions.
The investment sector headed the decliners falling 4.2% as Dubai Investments and DFM Company decreased by 5.4% and 0.75%, respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector plunged 1% as Damac Development and Arabtec retreated 1.6% and 1.4%, respectively, while the commodities levelled down 0.36% on the back of DXB Entertainments’ 0.4% drop.
On the other hand, transportation and banks sectors topped the risers adding 0.91% and 0.17%, respectively.
