DFM ends Sunday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.03% to settle at 2,913.38 points by the end of Sunday's session.

A total of 214.65 million shares have been exchanged through 1,889 transactions valued at AED 128.11 million.

Dubai Insurance Co (DIN) led the rising stocks with 14.9%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance Co topped the losing stocks with 8.11%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.21% to close Sunday's session at 7,636.88 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.64 billion after 241.86 had been exchanged through 5,086 transactions.

RAK Co. for White Cement & Construction Materials topped the red zone with 9.8%, while Zee Stores headed the green zone with 14.98%.
