Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session in positive territory, supported by the announcement of earnings reprots of and selective purchases.
The general index grew 0.64%, or 16.05 points, ending the last session of the week at 2,516.61 points.
The DFM’s trading volume reached 83.74 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 124.17 million through 2,120 transactions.
The consumer staples sector topped gainers adding 1.74% as DXB Entertainment grew 2.51%, while the transportation sector rose 1.26% on the back of Aramex’s 1.5% increase.
Similarly, the real estate sector advanced 0.77% as Arabtec, Emaar Development and Emaar Properties went up 2.51%, 1.8% and 1.3%, respectively.
The investment and banks sectors levelled up 0.57% and 0.56%, respectively.
