Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled down by 1.22% or 33.02 points on Thursday, closing at 2,678.70 points.
The turnover recorded AED 215.10 million after 147.47 million shares were traded through 2,944 transactions.
The market cap value declined by AED 3.04 billion to stand at AED 364.31 billion from AED 367.35 billion on Wednesday.
The consumer staples sector was down by 2.02%, while the investment and financial services sector inched up solely by 0.45%.
Al Madina for Finance and Investment went down by 5.85%, while International Financial Advisors (IFA) increased by 12.50%.
GFH Financial Group saw the highest turnover of AED 47.56 million through the exchange of 53.66 million shares.
As for the leading stocks, Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) declined by 2.50% and 1.12%, respectively.
