DFM ends Tuesday in green zone

Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.95% or 31.99 points to close at 3,390.56 points on Tuesday.

The goods sector was the top gainer with a growth of 4.15% in line with the 4.05% rise of DXB Entertainments.

DFM’s investment sector went up 1.52% as Shuaa Capital gained 3.68%. The real estate sector gained 0.95% in line with the growth of DSI and Emaar.

DFM was backed by the real estate sector, keeping its positive performance for the second session in a row, capital market analyst Raed Diab said.

He noted that the rise of DSI stock for the second successive session was due to the appointment of a new CEO.

Turnover grew to AED 312.84 million after trading volume increased to 279.89 million shares.

DFM is expected to continue rising in the coming session, targeting above 3,400 and 3,430 points respectively, the analyst said.
