Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s trading session with positive performance, after five straight drops, supported by the financial statements of the first quarter of 2019.
The general index inched up 6.96 points, or 0.25%, ending the mid-week session at 2,767.10 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 259.78 million after 124.32 million shares exchanged hands through 2,701 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the gainers and added 1.08% as Emaar Properties and Emaar Development grew 2.13% and 0.51%, respectively.
Similarly, the services sector levelled up 1.08% as Tabreed increased by 1.3%, while the transportation sector went up 0.7% on the back of Aramex’s 1.5% jump.
Meanwhile, the investment sector headed the decliners falling 0.68%, followed by the banks and telecommunication sectors with 0.21% and 0.2%, respectively.
