Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s trading session slightly down.
The DFM’s general index inched down by 2.27 points, or 0.08%, to 2,778.80 points.
Trading volume amounted to 106.99 million shares that were exchanged through 1,781 transactions at a turnover of AED 153.14 million.
Market capitalisation shed AED 100 million and closed the session at AED 365.484 billion.
The consumer staples, the investment and financial service, and the banks sector fell by 1.21%, 0.86%, and 0.60%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate and the services sectors levelled up by 0.28% and 0.18% each.
Emirates NBD was the most active stock by value with a turnover of AED 49.96 million, while Amlak was the most active stock by volume with 36.39 million shares.
