Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has closed Wednesday’s trading session in the green territory after marking four-session low.
The DFM’s general index went up 34.30 points, or 1.23%, to 2,831.28 points.
Trading volume amounted to 90.021 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 177.15 million.
The banks sector increased by 1.66% as Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates NBD jumped 1.95% and 1.75%, respectively.
Similarly, the real estate sector edged up 0.58% on the back of Emaar Properties and Damac Properties which added 0.39% and 1.56%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the consumer staples and the telecommunication sectors rose by 3.16% and 2.18, respectively.
