Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s general index grew by 14.99 points, or 0.55%, to close at 2,754.69 points on Wednesday.
The real estate sector added 1.62%, while the services, investment, and banking sectors rose by 1.17%, 0.55%, and 0.31%, respectively. The consumer staples sector declined by 0.42%.
Amlak Finance topped the DFM’s gainers, surging 5.68%, while Shuaa Capital led the market’s losers, shedding 3.68%.
Emaar Properties grew by 2.38%, while Arabtec Holding went up by 1.62%, Dubai Investments gained 1.57%, and Dubai Islamic Bank rose by 0.57%.
On the other hand, Emirates NBD dropped 3.98%, while Damac Properties and DXB Entertainments fell 1.14% and 0.49%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 128.05 million shares, while liquidity amounted to AED 163.28 million.
