Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed the week ended Thursday, 8 November on a positive note backed by blue-chip stocks.
The DFMGI gained 0.74% or 20.64 points to close at 2,825.86 points. Turnover amounted to AED 908.96 million down from AED 941.06 million last week, while traded volume increased to 620.44 million shares against 564.82 million.
The real estate sector grew 1.22% after Emaar Development and DAMAC Properties added 1.6% and 5.9%, respectively.
The investment sector increased 1.49% after Dubai Investments added 1.24%.
On the other hand, the banks sector lost 0.25% after Emirates NBD shed 1.6% during the week.
