Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of five sectors led by the investment and real estate.
The DFMGI declined 0.12% or 4.24 points to reach 3,598.08 points by 10:45am UAE time.
The insurance sector led losers after falling 1% as Islamic Arab Insurance Co. (SALAMA) slid 2.7%. The transportation sector also levelled down 0.6%, weighed down by Air Arabia which retreated 0.7%.
The investment sector decreased 0.6% as Dubai Investments slid 0.8%. Similarly, the real estate sector sank 0.05% after Arabtec Holding went down 1.4%.
The market saw trading of 197.94 million shares through 2,336 transactions, with a turnover of AED 207.56 million.
