Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s general index went down by 7.76 points, or 1.34%, to 2,746.93 points in a week.
Market capitalisation grew to AED 372.689 billion over the week, compared to AED 368.821 billion in the previous week.
The banking sector shed 0.21% and the real estate sector dropped 3.41%. Emaar Properties plunged 4.47%, Dubai Islamic Bank declined by 0.56%, and Emaar Malls lost 0.5%.
The DFM’s trading volume hit 497.49 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 786.79 million.
