DFM falls at Tuesday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) suffered losses in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the decline of four sectors topped by the transportation and real estate.

The DFMGI went down 0.08% or 3.87 points to reach 3,687.47 points by 10:30am UAE time.

The transportation sector was the worst performer after declining 0.6% as Aramex slid 1.64%.

The real estate sector sank 0.4% as Emaar Properties decreased 0.6%. Likewise, the insurance sector slid 0.34% after Islamic Arab Insurance Co. (SALAMA) tumbled 1.2%.

Turnover amounted to AED 206.25 million after trading 105.03 million shares through 1,336 transactions.
