Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the decline of banks and investment sectors.
The general index declined 0.16% or 5.38 points to reach 3,284.90 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The banks sector was the worst performer after falling 0.32% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled down 0.6%.
The investment sector retreated 0.32% after Dubai Investments slid 0.5%. Likewise, the transportation sector decreased 0.09% as Aramex tumbled 0.5%.
The market saw trading of 136.17 million shares through 863 transactions, with a turnover of AED 151.4 million.
