Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) moved lower in Tuesday’s early trade, weighed by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Emaar Properties.
The DFMGI retreated 0.26% or 8 points to reach 3,093.2 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The UAE markets are still controlled by speculators amid the lack of catalysts in the current period, which will negatively affect liquidity, analysts told Mubasher.
The banks sector lost 0.8%, weighed by DIB which fell 1.64%.
The real estate sector also retreated 0.1% after Emaar and Arabtec Holding decreased 0.85% and 3.77%, respectively.
On the flipside, the investment sector advanced 0.23% after DFM Company gained 0.86%.
The telecom sector levelled up 0.2% as du rose 0.2% to AED 5.01.
