DFM falls on banks, real estate stocks at open

Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Sunday, pressured by the decline of the real estate and banks sectors.

The DFMGI fell 0.19% or 6.15 points to reach 3,223.76 points by 10:50am UAE time.

The real estate sector topped losers after falling 0.26%, weighed down by Emaar Properties which slid 0.32%.

The banks sector retreated 0.12% due to a decrease in Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) by 0.37%.

Turnover reached AED 50.7 million after trading 53.39 million shares through 768 transactions.
