Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s mid-session, weighed down by the banks sector’s losses.
The general index decreased 0.02% to reach 3,510.91 points by 12:00pm UAE time.
The consumer staples sector was the worst performer after falling 1.2% as Dubai Parks and Resorts retreated 1.14%. Likewise, the banks sector slid 0.05% in line with the decline of Emirates NBD by 0.6%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector rose 0.81% due to an increase in Air Arabia by 1.38%. The investment sector also added 0.69% as Dubai Investments grew 0.9%.
Turnover reached AED 177.67 million after trading 96.64 million shares through 1,857 transactions.
