DFM falls on real estate sector at open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the decline of real estate stocks.

The main index slid 0.08% or 2.65 points to reach 3,356.74 points by 10:20am UAE time.

The real estate sector was the only loser with a 0.34% fall due to a decline in Deyaar Development and Emaar Properties by 1.5% and 0.4% respectively.

On the other hand, the transportation sector rose 0.07% as Gulf Navigation Holding advanced 0.87%.

The market saw trading of 73.20 million shares through 645 transactions, with a turnover of AED 67.86 million.
