DFM foreign, institutional investors head for selling

Dubai – Mubasher: Foreign and institutional investors in Dubai Financial Market tended towards selling on Monday, compared to a buying spree among national and Arab traders.

DFM closed Monday in red, thus continuing its losing run to the second straight day, pressured by real estate stocks mainly Arabtec and Emaar.

Non-Arab foreign traders were net sellers by AED 56.2 million, while non-GCC Arab traders were net buyers by AED 9.2 million. GCC investors were net sellers by AED 2.11 million.

Mon-UAE traders were net sellers by AED 49 million. Nationals were net buyers by the same value.

Institutional traders were net sellers by AED 63.16 million, while retail traders were net buyers by the same value.
