Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Monday’s early trades, weighed down by the real estate and banks sectors.
The DFMGI fell 0.11% or 3.81 points to reach 3,313.68 points by 10:25am UAE time.
The banks sector was the worst performer after falling 0.14%, weighed down by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) which slid 0.2%.
The real estate also retreated 0.66% due to a decline in Emaar Properties by 0.43%.
On the flipside, the transportation sector went up 0.48% as Air Arabia rose 0.77%.
The market saw trading of 44.90 million shares through 537 transactions, with a turnover of AED 58.12 million.
