Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened Monday’s early trading in the green, backed by the rise of six sectors led by the real estate and banks.
The DFMGI rose 0.85% or 24.13 points to reach 3,302.09 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector topped gainers with a 1.3% rise as DXB Entertainment advanced 1.3%. Likewise, the real estate sector grew 1.25% after Emaar Properties increased 1.9%.
The banks sector added 0.4% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled up 0.9%.
The market saw trading of 242.41 million shares through 2,222 transactions, with a turnover of AED 258.96 million.
