Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 2.03% or 45.49 points to end Monday's trading session at 2,281.07 points, unlike its downward performance on Thursday, 20 August.
A total of 366.88 million shares were traded through 6,338 transactions at a total value of AED 437.17 million.
The market cap valued rose by around AED 5.49 billion to AED 317.24 billion, compared to AED 311.75 billion during the previous session.
The banks segment led the risers with 3.43%.
Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) came on top of the rising stocks with 14.97%, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank headed the losing stocks with 5%.
Deyaar Development posted the highest trading volume of 77.88 million shares, while Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 144.27 million.
Emaar Properties topped the rising blue chips with 1.71%, while Arabtec Holding headed the losing blue chips with 4.94%.
