Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) main index opened higher on Wednesday amid the rise of the investment and real estate sectors.
The DFMGI gained 0.23% or 7.7 points to reach 3,351.13 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The investment sector topped gainers with a 0.9% growth due to a rise in DFM Company.
The real estate sector advanced 0.37%, spurred by the positive performance of Emaar Properties, and Drake and Scull International (DSI).
On the flipside, the banks sector fell 0.12% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) retreated 0.4%.
The market saw trading of 39 million shares through 607 transactions, with a turnover of AED 54.6 million.
