Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Sunday’s trading session in green territory on the back of the rising blue-chip stocks.
The DFM’s general index added 20.14 points, or 0.74%, to 2,781.43 points.
Market capitalisation gained AED 3.75 billion and closed the session at AED 367.91 billion.
The services sector grew by 2.01%, followed by the consumer staples which increased by 1.23%.
Similarly, the real estate sector added 0.87%, the investment and financial services sector went up by 0.69%, and the banks levelled up by 0.65%.
At the level of stock performances, Arabtec jumped by 4.73%, DXB Entertainments rose by 1.46%, and Emirates NBD added 0.77%.
Likewise, Damac Properties rose by 0.77%, Dubai Islamic Bank went up by 0.58%, and Emaar Properties edged up 0.22%.
Deyaar Development was the most heavily traded stock with 100.13 million traded shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 35.60 million.
