Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday s trading session on a positive note.
The DFM’s general index edged up 34.54 points, or 1.21%, to 2,880.61 points.
Trading volume amounted to 211.105 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 296.051 million through 3,639 transactions.
Market capitalisation gained AED 4.15 million and closed the session at AED 373.287 billion.
The real estate, the investing and financial services, and the consumer staples sectors rose 3.05%, 2.42%, and 1.54%, respectively, while the banks sector inched down 0.01%.
Emaar Properties, up 3.88% to AED 5.36, was the most heavily traded stock with a turnover of AED 91.287 million.
