Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 2.88% or 54.42 points to end Tuesday's trading session at 1,939.72 points, unlike its downward performance on Monday, 13 April.
The market cap registered AED 285.71 billion, up by AED 5.71 billion from AED 280 billion during the previous session.
A total of 318.21 million shares were traded through 5,365 transactions valued at AED 263.81 million.
The investment and financial services sector led the risers with 4.07%, followed by the real estate sector with 3.24%.
Amlak Finance headed 28 rising stocks with 14.67%, while Ithmaar Holding came on top of two losing stocks with 1.57%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 63.19 million shares, while Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 50.21 million.
As for the blue chips, Arabtec Holding hit the top of the winners with 7.40%.
