Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) managed to continue its early gains in Thursday’s mid-session, backed by a rise of 24 stocks.
The general index gained 1.48% or 47.15 points to reach 3,227.92 points. Turnover reached AED 114.89 million after trading 100.5 million shares.
The real estate sector rose 2.13%, backed by Arabtec Holding, Drake and Scull International and Emaar Malls by 4.39%, 3.35% and 3.23%, respectively.
The banks sector advanced 1.05% as Amlak Finance added 4.39%.
The telecom sector levelled up 0.41% as du increased 0.41%.
The insurance sector was the only loser after falling 0.28%, weighed by Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co. and Dar Al Takaful which lost 3.28% and 1.07%, respectively.
