Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session in the green after adding 0.20%, to finish at 2,493.02 points.
The DFM's stocks gained more than AED 1.7 billion at the end of today’s session.
The Investment and financial services sector rose 1.82% as Dubai Investments’ stock increased 2.36%, reaching AED 1.7, while the real estate sector gained 1.44% after Damac Properties’ stock went up 4.35% to AED 1.2.
Emaar Properties’ stock levelled up 2.23%, while the consumer staples sector added 1.4% after DXB Entertainments’ stock grew 1.62%, reaching AED 0.251.
The banks sector rose 1.11% after the stocks of Emirates NBD and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled up 2.11%, and 0.4%, respectively.
The DFM’s liquidity reached AED 124.65 million, up from AED 78.88 million, while trading volume stood at 31.68 million shares, down from 51.79 million in the previous session.
