DFM in green at open as 6 sectors rise

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Sunday’s session in the green zone, backed by the rise of six sectors that were topped by investments.

DFM’s main index was up 0.22% or 7.59 points to reach 3,532.01 points by 11:05am UAE time.

The investment sector topped the gainers by 0.93%, on the back of Dubai Investments which gained 1.42%.

The insurance sector levelled up 0.49% in line with the rise of Takaful Al Emarat which rose by 1.4%.

DFM’s transportation sector was the only decliner by a fall of 1.92%, dragged by Air Arabia which fell by 2.74%.

DFM’s liquidity reached AED 161.06 million, after 113.29 million shares were traded through 1,470 transactions.
