Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session with negative performance.
The DFM’s general index inched down 0.22%, or 6.27 points, ending the session at 2,831.69 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 164.7 million after 176.7 million shares exchanged hands through 3,415 transactions.
The real estate sector topped the decliners falling 0.55%, while the telecommunication sector retreated by 0.89%.
Similarly, the investment sector went down by 0.13%.
Emaar’s stock headed the bourse’s loser falling 0.57%, followed by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Emaar Malls with 0.58% and 1.02%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Arabtec Holding’s stock topped the risers adding 1.20%.
