Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Wednesday’s early trades, weighed down by the decline of six sectors led by the consumer staples and real estate.
The main index lost 0.58% or 19.27 points to reach 3,317.49 points by 10:40am UAE time.
The consumer staples sector was the worst performer after falling 1.22%, dragged down by DXB Entertainments which slid 1.3%.
The investment sector decreased 0.7% as SHUAA Capital levelled down 1.9%.
Turnover stood at AED 58.75 million after trading 53.33 million shares through 683 transactions.
