Dubai-Mubaser: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened in the red on Wednesday, weighed down by the fall of investment and banks stocks.
The DFMGI slid 0.33% or 11.92 points to reach 3,575.29 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The investment sector was the worst performer with a 0.85% decline as DFM Company retreated 2.08%.
The banks sector went down 0.5% after Emirates NBD decreased 1.7%.
The real estate sector fell 0.2%, pressured down by Arabtec which tumbled 0.6%.
The market saw trading of 11.66 million shares through 211 transactions, with a turnover of AED 16.30 milllion.
