Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, amid the decline of most sectors led by the investment and real estate sectors.
The general index fell 0.49% or 17.4 points to reach 3,517.89 points by 10:20am UAE time.
The investment sector led losers after falling 0.9% as SHUAA Capital slid 2.2%. Likewise, the real estate sector decreased 0.7% after Emaar Properties retreated 1.1%.
The consumer staples sector tumbled 0.6% as Dubai Parks and Resorts fell 0.6%. The banks sector also went down 0.30% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) declined 0.54%.
The market saw trading of 32.49 million shares through 529 transactions, with a turnover of AED 38.29 million.
