Dubai-Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a positive performance in Sunday’s early trades, backed by the rise of transportation and investment stocks.
The general index rose 0.31% or 9.12 points to reach 3,501.34 points by 10:15am UAE time.
The services sector was the best performer after adding 2.01%, backed by Amanat Holdings which grew 2.02%. The transportation sector also increased 0.92% as Aramex went up 1.3%.
The real estate sector rose 0.3% after Arabtec advanced 0.7%. Likewise, the investment sector went up 0.14% as DFM Company climbed 2.27%.
On the flipside, the banks sector was the only loser after falling 0.13%, weighed down by Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) which slid 0.18%.
Turnover reached AED 36.55 million after trading 34.39 million shares through 402 transactions.
